Caboose Barstool

Stock# DRHL1012BS300

Originally a chair, we made it in a bar stool version. This Amish Caboose chair has gone by many names since it was first brought on the market in 1885. This is the Saloon Chair, the same one that was often seen in Gunsmoke's bar hall scenes. Why is it called the Caboose Chair? Because it was first designed for the Union Pacific Railroad and was put into every caboose on every train. Specifically made to withstand abuse, this is one of the strongest chairs made. And also these chairs are made by highly skilled craftsman with dedication and experience that makes this a must have item.
