Shown and built with Solid Red Oak, this proudly made in the USA Amish Caboose Chair has gone by many names since it was first brought on the market in 1885. This is the Saloon Chair, the same one that was often seen in Gunsmoke's bar hall scenes.

Why is it called the Caboose Chair? Because it was first designed for the Union Pacific Railroad and was put into every caboose on every train.
